This is my second Conair Steamer. The first gave the family several years of good service before needing replacement. However, I highly recommend spending the few extra dollars to purchase this more upgraded and modern model. You need to know that it takes learning a new technique but I haven’t used or owned a conventional iron and ironing board in years!

This is great. Doesn’t do a perfect job on some shirt materials, but helps significantly for those impossible shirts. The steam relaxes the fabric, then it takes a simple iron to fix. Works great on jeans and pants and general cotton based shirts. Just what I was looking for. I use it every day.

I can not express what a difference this steamer made for me! I’ve been wearing wrinkled clothes to work because I hate ironing that much. So when I had a little extra money I invested in a steamer. This one seemed like the best choice after reading all the reviews & I have to say I agree.
My only gripe is that it do NOT have rear locking casters. Or at least mine didn’t when it arrived, and it doesnt indicate anywhere on the box or instructions that it should. But I gave it 5 stars anyways because the product is everything it should be. If I didn’t know it should have locking casters, I wouldn’t have missed them.

We love this thing. The steamer takes up far less room for both storage and use than a regular standing ironing board. We have a small house and not alot of wiggle room, so space saving is key for us. Also,I hate ironing; sleeves, collars and touchy fabrics can be a bear. With the steamer I just drag the wand and go, so far easy as pie. On some types of fabrics or clothing details I can see where a little touch with a traditional iron would be beneficial, but overall we love this thing.

You DO still need to iron certain items. Dress shirts, etc., won’t be wrinkle-free after running over them with this steamer. However, the steamer does loosen the fabric up nicely in preparation for ironing.
For suits and other nice wool-based clothes, however, supposedly steaming is the only way to go if you want to preserve the fabric. Indeed, the steamer does a great job on my suits and sport coats.
My crappy apartment-complex driers leave hard creases in jeans and some other clothes, and this steamer does a great job on those.
All in all, this works great for standard cotton attire (t-shirts, jeans, etc.). For dress shirts, you’ll still need to iron to get them to look nice. For suits and other nicer fabrics, steaming is, as far as I know, the only gentle way to get the wrinkles out. Despite my disjointed review, I recommend this product.
